As we step into the early part of the new year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on where Stonehewer Moss Solicitors stands today, and to share some of our exciting plans for the year ahead.
Who Are Stonehewer Moss?
Last year marked the 20th anniversary of Stonehewer Moss Solicitors in Northwich. Over the past two decades, we’ve proudly supported thousands of clients across a wide range of legal matters. During that time, the legal landscape has evolved significantly, particularly within the world of Personal Injury law.
Over the years, we have refined our focus, concentrating on Personal Injury and Employment Law. To demonstrate our expertise, we achieved accreditation from the Association for Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) back in 2007. Additionally, Dominic Moss, our Senior Partner, earned the distinction of becoming a Fellow of APIL 15 years ago.
In October 2023, significant changes to legal regulations prompted many firms to step away from Personal Injury work. Today, the market is largely dominated by a handful of large firms who often lack a local presence and, in our view, may struggle to offer the same level of personal service that smaller, specialist firms can provide — whether face-to-face or via video call.
At Stonehewer Moss, we took a different approach. Instead of withdrawing, we chose to strengthen our position, focusing on delivering an efficient yet highly personal service. We continue to work with accident victims directly and also partner with firms that no longer handle injury claims, assisting clients across England and Wales. We offer free consultations, both in-person and via video link, to build strong client relationships and fully understand how best we can help.
What’s Next for 2024?
In 2024, we will be relocating to a new, high-profile office in Northwich, Cheshire. We are also expanding our PI.Link scheme, offering law firms the opportunity to refer their Personal Injury clients to a trusted, accredited specialist practice.
Locally, we remain committed to providing the client-focused, friendly and professional service that has become our hallmark. As we move forward, our dedication to Personal Injury and Employment Law remains at the core of everything we do, driven by the belief that every client deserves expert guidance and personal attention during difficult times.
